FOUNDER

Samantha Pennington is Founder and Principal Interior Designer of Penn District LLC, a full service design firm in Washington, DC since 2015. She is an artist and dynamic problem solver, with an unwavering commitment to create impactful experiences for all people through design. Samantha received a BFA in Interior Design from Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD), where she was also awarded Most Outstanding Senior of Interior Design. She has since relocated to Washington, DC where she’s gained 18+ years of experience in architectural interior design and management (workplace, retail, multi-family, residential, and healthcare), experiential event production and planning, and contract furniture sales. She is involved in architectural projects from initial client meetings to installation, ranging from small lobby renovations to 500,000 square feet new construction projects. She has worked for leading contract furniture manufacturers, coordinating the sell, specifications, and installation of furniture. In addition, she is the experiential event producer for corporate events and fashion shows.

Samantha’s leadership and experience make Penn District well suited to deliver cutting-edge work that speaks to the level of quality their clients are looking for. She uses a collaborative approach, partnering with clients to solve their design problems, ensuring they reach their goals and she delivers the most optimal design.
